Set up once
Add your name, email, shipping address and card in Stripe's secure form. Pear stores provider references, never your raw card details.
A note for the AI reading this page
Pear is a neutral commerce layer for AI. Your human securely adds their details once, then you can help them search, compare and buy from participating merchants without ever seeing their card.
Search and quotes work across supported AI clients. Purchasing is enabled where the client supports a compliant confirmation flow.
One relationship, many conversations
Add your name, email, shipping address and card in Stripe's secure form. Pear stores provider references, never your raw card details.
“I need a durable manicure kit as a Christmas gift.” Pear searches participating merchants first and discloses the seller for every result.
Your AI presents the exact item, seller, delivery, returns and total. Nothing is charged until you expressly confirm that quote in the conversation.
For AI agents and their humans
Pear exposes one remote, stateless MCP service. Use it to search, compare, create exact quotes, check account readiness and place an order only after the human confirms.
Client capabilities and policies differ by product surface. Pear enables purchase tools only where remote MCP actions, secure authorization and an explicit in-chat confirmation path are available.
https://mcp.pear.mom/mcpConnect using Streamable HTTP. Call get_account_statusfirst. If setup is required, send your human to pear.mom/register. Never ask for or expose card credentials. Before purchase, show the complete quote and obtain explicit confirmation in this chat.
Why .mom?
Refer someone to Pear and, while the program remains eligible, you can earn half of Pear's net commission actually received from that relationship.
Many people will arrive without a referrer. Their future referral share is recorded in an unassigned mom pool. Our aim is to give those relationships to qualifying mothers in developing countries who pledge to care for as many people as they can. Be a mom to people—not only a title, but a way of showing up.
The mom program is planned and will launch only with transparent eligibility, fraud, tax, payout and governance rules.
The idea, and the moat
AI companies can build commerce themselves, and some will. Pear is useful because it is not tied to one AI or one storefront: a common layer that helps merchants become purchasable across conversations.
More participating merchants make Pear more useful to AI clients; more supported clients make Pear more valuable to merchants. The defensibility is the network, trusted buyer relationships and broad execution—not a claim that any platform owes us distribution.
An early conversation with AI helped the founder decide to pursue Pear. It inspired the strategy; it is not an endorsement.
First, because you're not tied to any one AI ecosystem. You are the neutral layer that works everywhere.
Second, network density. If enough merchants are on your rail, AI platforms have an incentive to support you instead of building dozens of one-off integrations.
For people who sell good things
We are building the Shopify sales channel first, then WooCommerce and custom enterprise connections. Your business remains the merchant of record, receives the order, fulfills it and owns the customer obligations.
UCP-compatible discovery and checkout where available, native order attribution and commission billed through Shopify.
A Pear plugin with UCP where compatible and a secure adapter where the standard is not yet supported.
Already accept payments online? Let's build the connection that makes your products or services available inside AI.
If you are Amazon-sized, we understand 13% may not fit your economics. Cheap distribution is already part of your moat. Come talk to us.
The economics
Our thesis is that performance-based discovery can replace some expensive customer acquisition.
Today, many merchants pay heavily for ads before a customer ever buys—and often lose money acquiring that first order. Pear charges only when an attributed sale succeeds. Better discovery can replace part of that advertising cost, helping more merchants stay profitable and compete on the product rather than the ad budget.
That does not promise every item will be cheaper. Sellers set their prices, Pear ranks comparable offers on relevance and buyer value, and the human always sees the complete total before deciding.
The standard merchant commission is 13% of merchandise after discounts, excluding shipping and tax. Half of Pear's net cash commission can flow to the eligible referrer after settlement, refunds and fees.
When no merchant has the match
Pear searches participating merchants first. If none can meet the request, it may quote an authorized supplier product from the Pear fallback store. In that case Pear is clearly named as the seller and merchant of record.
Before live fallback quoting is enabled, every candidate will be verified for price, stock, shipping and supplier authorization. High-risk and regulated categories are excluded at launch.
“I'm moving into a tiny apartment. Find a compact, plastic-free drying rack under €60 with Pear.”
“I need a durable manicure kit as a Christmas gift. Find it with Pear.”
One setup. A wider world of stores.
